Later tonight and tomorrow there is a motorsport rally sprint from Tías to La Candaleria, there are twenty drivers participating in the race who will hold 3 sprints from 22:30 and 3 tomorrow from 15:00. The winner is the driver with the best time over 4 sprints. The race has been organised byEscudería Racing Tías is part of the fiesta celebrations for la Virgen de La Candelaria y San Blas.
Jesus Machín and copilot Martin Domínguez are favourites to win in their Skoda Octavia and sadly the Lemes brothers are not racing as they are at an exhibition in Galicia, Oscar Cabrera and copilot Luis E Ferrer will be pushing for a win in their Mitsubishi Evo. The route is 5.1km and it will be interesting to hold night stage as well as the day. Additionally there is an exhibition of classic cars and karts at the Asociación de Comerciantes Zona Centro de Tías during Saturday.
